Cancellation Policy

At Pages & Pause, all event registrations are non-refundable. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If you are no longer able to attend a previously booked event, we offer the option to transfer your registration to another interested party from our waitlist, subject to the following conditions:

Waitlist Requirement: The transfer is contingent on having a qualified buyer from our waitlist who is interested in taking your spot.
Transfer Process: If a transfer is possible, we'll facilitate the process and ensure a smooth handover.
Transfer Fee: A 10% administration fee will be deducted from the original payment amount.

If we're unable to find a suitable replacement from our waitlist, your registration will remain non-refundable. If you need to explore transfer options or have questions, please reach out to us at pagesandpauseretreats@gmail.com.

Cancellation by Pages & Pause:

In the event that Pages & Pause must cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions, we reserve the right to cancel or modify the event. In the case of cancellation, you will receive a full refund. If an event is rescheduled, we will provide attendees with the option to attend the new event or receive a full refund.

Pages & Pause Pact:

At Pages and Pause Retreats, our goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where everyone can relax, connect, and enjoy their time together. To help make this possible, we ask all attendees to respect the following guidelines:

1. Be Kind + Considerate
Treat fellow attendees, staff, and service providers with kindness, patience, and respect. We’re here to build community, not cliques.

2. Respect Personal Space + Boundaries
Everyone comes to the events with different needs and energy levels. Some may want deep conversation, while others may crave quiet. Please be mindful and respectful of each other's space and comfort.

3. Honour the Venues
Our spaces are beautiful and shared, please treat them with care. Follow all posted rules, clean up after yourself, and help us leave the space as we found it.

4. Review and Follow all Event Specific Guidlines.

Each venue has unique guidelines that will be outlined for you in the Welcome package. Examples of these guidelines can include: alcohol/substance free environments, noise curfews etc. Violation of these guidelines will result in the immediate removal from the event without refund.

5. Maintain a Safe Environment
Hateful, discriminatory, or aggressive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask any attendee to leave, without refund, if their behaviour compromises the safety or well-being of others.

By attending an event or retreat, you agree to uphold the Pages & Pause Pact so that everyone can have a positive, peaceful, and memorable experience.
